Powder Puff Game raises money for Project Graduation

Football game collects more than $1700 for senior activities in June

On Sunday, Oct. 29, the annual Powder Puff Football Game was held at Alumni Stadium.

In this competition, girls from the junior and senior classes compete in a flag football game and junior and senior boys cheer them on. The Senior girls defeated the Juniors 25-6.

The game happens each year to raise money for Project Graduation, a group that creates senior events during Graduation Week.

According to Amy Sevigny, a parent involved in Project Graduation, the total amount of money raised was $1789 and the event’s sponsor was Alliance Funding Group.
