Seven players and one coach are awarded prestigious recognition in Class A Conference
The Class A South Football Conference has chosen its All-Conference Team. Sanford High School football has been well represented, with seven students and one coach receiving recognition.
Tucker Walker, a senior captain, was selected to receive the Jerry Raymond Lineman of the Year Award. This award goes to the most outstanding lineman in our conference.
“Tucker has been the backbone of our Offensive and defensive lines for the past two years,” said Head Coach Michael Fallon. “His physical presence, along with his outstanding physical skill sets did not go unnoticed by the other coaches and teams in our conference. Tucker represented us well on the field, the classroom and in his personal character.”
Along with the players that have been chosen to the All-Conference team, Coach Mark Boissonneault was chosen as the 2023 Class A South Assistant Coach of the Year. “Coach B” has been a member of the football coaching staff for over 30 years. He has coached at the youth and high school level. Fallon credits Boissoneault with devoting his entire professional life to teaching and coaching. He has also coached, baseball and basketball for the vast majority of his career.
“Coach B is a dedicated member of our staff and we are excited to see him get the recognition he deserves,” said Fallon.
