Sanford High School and Middle School will be in the Performing Arts Center for Winter Concert Week

SANFORD, Maine – Sanford High School and Middle School will be holding winter concerts, on Dec. 13 and 14 in the Sanford Performing Arts Center.
The Middle School is holding a holiday concert that they have named, “The Winter Band and Chorus Concert.” Their concert will be on Dec. 13 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. All sixth through eighth graders who are in band and chorus will participate.
Then, Sanford High School is celebrating the holidays with a winter concert that will be called “The Spirit of the Holidays Concert.” The event will be held at 6 p.m. on Dec. 14 and includes the Chamber singers, Chorus, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Concert Band.
“We have some featured soloists in both the chorus and band portion of the show,” said Ms. Francoeur, in her fourth year as Band Director at Sanford High School
Ms. Francoeur adds, “The instrumental ensembles will be performing songs like ‘Winter Wonderland’, ‘Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!’, ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ and ‘Sleigh Ride’.”
In addition to that, St. Thomas has their winter concert on Monday, Dec. 18.
