Sanford’s Civil Rights Team promotes conversations protected by the Maine Civil Rights Act
In the State of Maine, schools that have active Civil Rights Teams are tasked with helping our school communities have conversations about six identities that are protected by the Maine Civil Rights Act: national origin and ancestry, race and skin color, religion, disabilities, gender (including gender identity and expression), and sexual orientation.
In an effort to get information out on some of these topics, the Civil Rights Team has created the infographics.

If you would like to join Civil Rights Team, we meet in the library on Mondays at 2:25.
