SANFORD — Sanford High School has just purchased a new building in hopes of expanding, despite the recent construction in the past few years. They’re renovating the old Burger King on Main Street, which has been bought with gold coins collected after St. Patrick’s Day as well as chocolate coins from Easter.
This building will be used as another cafeteria due to the lack of space in the lunch room. The new space will only be offered to seniors on certain days of the week who are in good academic standing in their classes. The students given this opportunity are on a first-come, first-served basis and are required to wear clown costumes in order to enter.
The new building will not only contain a cafeteria, with an ice cream parlor and Chick-fil-a. It will be run by students who need community service hours, and they will serve french fries and spicy chicken sandwiches on rollerblades.

It is rumored that Fridays will be a free fry day for the first 20 students who enter and must have to recreate their best Fortnite dance to get an additional free milkshake. Their most popular flavor is the infamous ketchup and banana with caramel sauce.
The new building will keep the previous indoor playground as a “de-stress” where an additional floor will be added to create more space for extra activities. The seniors will also able to take advantage of the slide which will lead into a pool of confetti and glitter.
In hopes to keep the majority of the original building, the drive-through will also be kept in tact, but altered into a go-kart track for those students who like to keep their competitive edge in a more adrenaline rushing fashion. Beware as you pass the drive-through window — you may get smacked in the face by a chocolate shake.
If there is any interest in this special opportunity make sure to pay attention to the date the article was written.
