SANFORD – On Tuesday, May 7, the Sanford National Art Honor Society (NAHS) will be hosting an Art Sale from 5-7 p.m.

According to the National Art Honor Society, “The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.”

This is NAHS’ first official fundraiser and the donated funds will be used to help grow this newly developed program and allow the members to accomplish their future goals.

Over the past month, the members of this organization have collaborated and worked hard to handmake a variety of items that will be at the sale.

Below is a list of items that will be available:

  • Tote bags
  • Water Color Cards
  • Water Color Paint Pallets
  • Lanyards
  • Keychains
  • Individually Priced Ceramic Items
  • Buttons
  • Planters
  • Coaster Set
  • Socks

This event will be open to the public and cash is recommended, however, Venmo will also be available at the booth. If you have any questions regarding the sale, feel free to contact Ms. Warner at mwarner@sanford.org.

The annual Art show and Band/Chorus Concerts will coincide with this art sale.

In case you missed it:

Also, this past January the group visited the Isabella Stewart Museum and MFA to gain more knowledge regarding the museums, with the help of the experienced tour guides. Below are photos from their field trip.
