SANFORD, Maine — Five freshmen from Sanford High School; Ava Allen, Morgan Bailey, Avila Cyr, Olivia Giles, and Max Hylton performed with the “Katahdin Choir” at the Maine ACDA State Festival, held at Waterville High School on Saturday, May 4.

Led by the esteemed conductor Kenneth Griffith of the Boston Children’s Chorus, these singers impressed the audience with their exceptional performance.

The event served as a platform for young talents (grades 4-9) to display their skills and passion for choral music, and the Sanford High School students did not disappoint.

Under Griffith’s guidance, the choir displayed remarkable cohesion and musicality, demonstrating the culmination of hard work and rehearsals leading up to the festival.

Each freshman contributed their unique voice and talent, collectively creating a harmonious and unforgettable performance.
