Here are the results from SHS’s favorite week of the year

Sanford High School has announced all the winners for the 24-25 homecoming week. We started the week with the themed days as the Seniors and Freshmen fought back and forth for first place each day, with the Juniors and Sophomores battling for third and fourth place.
However, the Juniors started catching up by strong scoring in the pep rally and through their class artwork. They came in first for the crash-through, 8×8 (library windows), and won some competitions and showed school spirit in the pep rally. The Juniors also scored second in the parade, which was just enough to help that walking away with the spirit stick.
There were nearly 30 Homecoming Queen nominees chosen by sports and club teams. Sophie Therrien of Cross Country was crowned.
The Homecoming Dance was held Saturday, Oct. 12. Approximately 650 students attended.
