Peer Helpers take their lunch buddies to Bowl-A-Rama

Sanford, MAINE – On Nov. 14, seven Peer Helpers and their buddies walked from SHS to Bowl-A-Rama.

The Sanford High School’s (SHS) Peer Helpers Club celebrated their Lunch Buddies program by taking students on a walking field trip to Bowl-A-Rama. The Peer Helpers who attended were Sadie Sevigny (Secretary), Paige Sevigny (President), Audrey Payeur, Hailey Payeur, Matty Hebert, Zoey McCann and Rory White (Vice President). 

“It was a fun experience with our lunch buddies with lots of laughs and fun bowling,” said Sadie Sevigny. 

The field trip lasted about an hour, and students received pizza, lemonade and a lot of water. 

Peer Helpers is a program that assists the SHS community and plans various activities such as; This is Us, Lunch Buddies, Thanksgiving Food Drive, and so many more. If you would like to join this club, they meet every Friday morning in the Small Cafe at 7:30 a.m.
