The Spartans will debut new uniforms during their matchup against Noble

SANFORD – On Tuesday, Jan. 28, SHS will host a boys and girls basketball doubleheader for its Military Appreciation Night. The teams have unveiled brand-new uniforms ahead of the basketball games to show support for the military.
Before tipoff, SHS will recognize six faculty members who have served in the military. This will include an introduction of the veterans, with their bios being read.
SHS also plans to honor the veterans with a presentation of the game ball and a photo with the basketball captains.
The SHS council will hold a special event for the 50/50 Travis Mills Foundation. The foundation supports post-9/11 veterans and their families through programs designed to help them overcome physical and emotional challenges, strengthen family bonds and enjoy well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Tickets will be sold at 4 p.m. at Door 43, by the Partners Bank Gymnasium entrae.
There will also be a sophomore class (2027) free throw contest before tipoff, and the pep band is expected to attend.

- 4:00 pm: First Team Boys vs Noble (Partners Bank Gymnasium)
- 4:00 pm: JV Girls vs Noble (Practice Gym)
- 5:30 pm: JV Boys vs Noble (Practice Gym)
- 5:30 pm: Varsity Girls vs Noble (Partners Bank Gymnasium)
- 6:55 pm: Military Appreciation of SHS Veterans
- 7:00 pm: Varsity Boys vs Noble (Partners Bank Gymnasium)
