SANFORD — There are two upcoming fundraisers put on by the Class of 2026. The profits from each event will go to things such as; prom, future fundraising events, and graduation.

Another reminder for the Class of 2026 to please pay your dues!

The closest fundraiser that is being held is a Paint Night featuring “Art by Ally”. Attendees will be painting the northern lights above a beautiful snowy scene, pictured above.

Tickets are $20 for each person and it’s being hosted on Feb. 7, 2025 at Sanford High School, likely in the cafeteria.

“Paint night is a great fundraiser for the class of 2026 to help prepare for the upcoming prom. It’s a fun event for everyone at any painting skill level,” said Class Treasuer, Bella McCall.

The second upcoming fundraiser is Dodgeball on  Friday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Sanford High School Partners Bank Gymnasium. This fundraiser goes to prom and other events as well.

For each team it is $25 to participate but spectating is free. Concessions are more than likely to be present at Dodgeball but not at paint night.

“Dodgeball usually [has] a slew of prizes- last year was aroma joes gift cards and [an] autocenter coupon book, as well as a few other places,” according to Class Advisor, Erin Murphy-Putnam.
