Cheer
Cheer held the SMAA Competition at home on Saturday, Jan. 25, placing third overall.
On Saturday, Feb. 1 the team traveled to Bangor for Regionals.
Boys Basketball
On Tuesday Jan. 14, Sanford hosted Cheverus and lost 83-68. Top performances were from Dylan Gendron with 20 points and Brady Adams with 16 points.
On Monday Jan. 20, Sanford hosted Kennebunk and lost 64-53. Top performances were from Luke Gendron with 21 points and Dylan Gendron with 13 points.
On Friday Jan. 24, Sanford hosted Bonny Eagle and won 71-56. Top performances were from Dylan Gendron with 29 points and Ryan Alexander with 18 points.
On Tuesday Jan. 28, Sanford hosted Noble and lost 76-66. Top performances were from Luke Gendron with 22 points, Bryce Adams with 16 points and Brady Adams with 16 points.
On Thursday Jan. 30, Sanford traveled to Kennebunk and lost 55-51. The top performer was Dylan Gendron with 16 points.
The Spartans’ final games are at Gorham on Tuesday Feb. 4, at 7pm, and at home against Massabesic on Thursday Feb. 6, at 7:30pm.
Girls Basketball
On Tuesday Jan. 14, Sanford traveled to Cheverus and lost 61-51. Top performances came from Ava Hudson with 21 points and Mollie Puffer with 15 points.
On Friday, Jan. 24, Sanford traveled to Bonny Eagle and won 57-18. Top performances were from Mollie Puffer with 14 points, Ava Hudson with 10 points and Paige Sevigny with 10 points.
On Saturday Jan. 25, Sanford hosted Greely and won 54-30. Top performances were from Mollie Puffer with 18 points, Paige Sevigny with 17 points and Sadie Sevigny with 12 points.
On Tuesday Jan. 28, Sanford hosted Noble and won 59-20. The top performance was from Sadie Sevigny with 12 points.
On Thursday Jan. 30, Sanford traveled to Kennebunk and won 57-42. Top performances were from Paige Sevigny with 20 points and Mollie Puffer with 19 points and 17 rebounds.
The Spartans final games are on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at home against Gorham at 6pm, and Thursday Feb. 6, at Massabesic at 6pm.
Boys Indoor Track
The boys and girls track team competed on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Biddeford, Kennebunk, Scarborough and South Portland.

The boys competed at USM against Kennebunk, Marshwood, Massabessic and Noble on Saturday, Feb. 1. This was their last regular season meet.
Girls Indoor Track
On Saturday, Jan. 18, the Girls Indoor Track Team competed at USM in Gorham. The girls placed 5th overall. They competed against Biddeford, South Portland, Kennebunk and Scarborough. The highlights of this meet include:

- Girls Long Jump- Lily Peters, 3rd
- Girls 4x400m- Lily Peters, Bella McCall, Eliza Allen and Ashtyn Gagnon, 3rd
- Girls Shot Put- Georgia Whitman, 4th and Ryenn Baker, 5th
- Girls 55m- Mattea Peters, 5th

Wrestling
On Wednesday, Jan. 15 the Spartans traveled to Wells for a tri-meet against Wells and Kennebunk. The final score from Wells was 22-50 with Sanford having a tough loss against Wells. The final score from Kennebunk was 50-27 with Sanford coming out on top.
Wrestling hosted the states meet on Feb. 1. for teams across Maine.
