SANFORD, Maine – SHS senior Phoebe Stevens was invited to New York Fashion Week in February 2025, to walk the runway for TinaMarie Holland and Garrett Steele. This was part of her prize after winning America’s Civic Miss Teen in August 2024.
During her runway walk she wore designs from Jonathan Kayne, Honky Tonk Halos and Iceware Designs by Gi & Jersey Dreams.
“I would have to say my favorite moments are from when I got to meet all the other models and see how different everyone was but still getting together to model and help each other out,” said Stevens.
Her favorite outfit was a long black dress that fit her perfectly and was “her style.”
America’s Civic Miss Teen is a national pageant award that recognizes teens for their community involvement, work, school and communication.
“To me, it means helping out in the community and seeing what I can do to help them. I work closely with lots of veterans as well to help them in whatever they may need,” said Stevens.
To prepare for the America’s Civic Miss Teen competition she had to do interviews with judges and lots of community service.
She is unsure about doing more fashion work in the future, but in August she will be crowning the new America’s Civic Miss Teen.
