BASEBALL
On Wednesday, May 7, the Spartans hosted Bonny Eagle and won 10-1. Notable performances came from Drew Vessels who went 4 for 5 batting, Matthew Hebert had 3 RBIs and Noah Corliss had a double and 2 RBIs.
On Thursday, May 8, the Spartans fell to Biddeford 1-0 in extra innings of a very close game.
Their next games are on Monday, May 12, at 4:30 pm at Portland, Tuesday, May 13, at 4:30 pm at South Portland and Thursday, May 15, at 4:30 pm in Sanford.
GIRLS LACROSSE
The Spartans hosted Deering on Friday, May 9 for a varsity-only match up (no JV game), handling the Rams in a decisive 18-2 win. Ali Long paced the Spartans with 5 goals. Sadie Sevigny scored 4, Savannah Knight added three, Sophie Olivo tallied 2 goals and 2 assists, Paige Sevigny had one goal and 3 assists, and Mckenna Nanartowich, Zoey McCann, and Jaslinn Johnson all added 1 goal each. Johnson also led with a team-high 8 ground balls.
The team travels to Traip on May 14 and Thornton Academy on May 16.
BOYS TENNIS
The team’s matches for the week of May 2-7 were cancelled due to weather. On Tuesday, May 13, the team will travel to Bonny Eagle.
GIRLS TENNIS
Sanford’s matches for the week of May 2-7 were rained out. Next, the girls’ tennis team will host Bonny Eagle on Tuesday, May 13.
BOYS OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
The boys’ track and field team competed at Falmouth alongside Kennebunk and Portland. The team placed 3rd overall.

The track and field team will compete next at St. Joes Invitational meet on Saturday, May 13.
GIRLS OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
On May 6, 2025, the girls’ track and field team travelled to Falmouth, competing against Falmouth, Portland and Kennebunk. Some of the top performances from this meet include:

The team will compete at St. Joes Invitational meet on Saturday, May 17 and then at Massabesic on May 19.
