SANFORD – SHS Staff and Students shared the best places to trick-or-treat on Halloween this season with the greater Sanford community.
Students recommended neighborhoods like Sugar Hill, Milton Avenue, Old Mill Road, and Farview Drive. Students were polled on The Spartan Times Instagram account and highlighted streets within the same neighborhood of Chancery Lane, Deborah Avenue, and Milton Avenue, specifically.
Adam Hartford, a staff member, said, “James Avenue was a good place to go trick-or-treating on Halloween, and there are house full of decorations in the yards on that street.”
Summer Commons, the nursing home in Sanford, is promoting a Trick or Treat event on Halloween at 5:00 p.m. on Halloween.
Halloween is celebrated in Sanford on October 31.

Sanford Pride Elementary School PTA is hosting a Halloween event on Oct. 23, 5-6PM.
Carl J Lamb School is hosting its trunk-or-treat on October 23, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Acton Elementary’s annual Trunk or Treat is this Saturday, October 25, from 11:00 am-4:00 p.m.
Margaret Chase Smith School is hosting a Trunk-or-Treat for students on October 30, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
