SHS winter concert preview

Sanford’s performing arts department invites you to their concert on Dec. 11

SANFORD—Sanford High School’s chorus and band will perform in the annual winter concert on Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Sanford Performing Arts Center. This event is open to the public and completely free of charge.

The entire SHS Chorale will be performing “Seasons of Love” from the Broadway musical “Rent” and the classic, “Silent Night”. Our elite choirs will also be performing at this event, with a set from the Chamber Singers featuring pieces like “Caledonia” and “In The Bleak Mid Winter” as well as many beloved Christmas hits like “Carol Of The Bells” and “Santa Tell me” from the Select Treble Choir.

The Concert Band and the Honors Wind Ensemble will perform at this event. Concert Band will be performing iconic holiday pieces such as “Snow Drifts”, “Metal Bell Carol”, and “Sleigh Ride” and the Honors Wind Ensemble will be performing “O Magnum Mysterium” and “Lacrimosa”.
