Students are encouraged to participate the week we return from winter break

Immediately after break, students at Sanford High School will celebrate Winter Sports Spirit Week. Each day, students who participate in the spirit days will get the chance to win a $10 gift card to Aroma Joe’s.

Winter Spirit Week ends with Winter Ball this January 

Sanford High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) is holding a winter ball. The dance will be on January 10th, starting at 7 pm and going to 10 pm. It is $10 at the door and will be held in the competition gym at Sanford High School. Winter Ball is at the end of this year’s Winter Spirit Week. There will be a concession, and 1 spirit day winner from each class day will win a $10 gift card to Aroma Joe’s. 

This year, Winter Ball celebrates winter sports with “Winter Sports Spirit Week.” Spirit day week themes are:

Monday– Men in black

Tuesday– Color War (Each grade will have a different color)

Wednesday– Rhyme without a reason

Thursday– Mathlete vs athlete

Friday– Red and white.
