Holiday cheer transforms SHS classroom doors into colorful works of art

SANFORD – The school’s annual door decorating contest brought creativity to the hallways as students and teachers transformed classroom doors into colorful holiday displays that reflected the school’s spirit and imagination.

The contest, held throughout the weeks leading up to winter break, encouraged participation, teamwork, and friendly competition among homeroom classes. 

Math teacher Mr.Ouellette talks about what his plan for the contest is: “We are in the process of wrapping up our take your own elfie station, where we will have a painted version of Buddy the Elf on the door, and for a moment in time, turn you into Buddy the Elf and take your elfie.” 

The winner of the door decorating contest will be announced this Friday, December 19, and will earn a prize to be announced.
