Senior prank slows down student traffic

Seniors deliberately parked to block underclassmen from the student lot

SANFORD, Maine – The class of 2024 executed a senior prank for the ages on May 22 by having students intentionally double-park or park crooked in the student lot.

The senior prank was led by Tatum Milley, class president, who communicated the prank through social media to the rest of the seniors for everyone to show up between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. This was because the administration was unaware and they wanted to show up before any other staff.

Breakfast also took place in the parking lot that morning, as Milley asked seniors to bring breakfast items for a tailgate. Milley brought a camp skillet and made 90 pancakes in the back of her car. Other seniors also contributed small snacks.

Furthermore, right before 7 a.m., senior Jack Sevigny parked his car at the front door in an attempt to get the final laugh. However, this only lasted roughly 30 minutes when someone told Sevigny his car was on a forklift.

Sevigny clarified the welding instructor, Kevin Hartford, who moved Sevigny’s car after, is his uncle. Hartford reportedly called his dad for approval to get the final laugh.

All in all, the 2024 senior prank went smoothly without too much disruption, and a lot of people found it funny, especially when a forklift got involved.
