Spooky Month means new Ghost Faces, so here are our favorites

By Matt Meyers

Halloween is coming up, so Fun World is releasing its new line of haunting merchandise. This includes the ever-iconic Ghost Face, best known for its appearance as the face of the Scream franchise and in the asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight. The mask has seen alternate styles since its 1991 debut, starting with the white shroud variant. This year, Fun World has debuted several new designs, all viewable in the “New 2026” section of their website. Here are our top five.

Number 5: Ghost Face Reaper Mask

The reaper design is certainly something to behold. While the standard “Purewhite” masks are made of a stark white, malleable plastic, the Reaper mask has the appearance of cracked, yellowing bone. While it uses the same soft PVC, the texture and paintwork do a convincing job of making it look like an ancient and warped skull. If you’re looking to give your Ghostface outfit a bit more edge, this is certainly the way to go. The mask retails for around $20-30.

Number 4: Marble Ghost Face Mask

The marble set consists of two mask designs, coming in purple and blue and a red variant. These masks are made from a firm plastic, unlike the usual soft PVC. In terms of appearance, they have a marbled texture with a bit of shine and a glittery shroud. The purple version is a great fit for a more whimsical Ghostface look, and the red one is also available in the Midnight Red Ghost Face costume set. Like most Ghost Face masks, these sit around $20 individually, while the Midnight Red costume comes out to around $40–50.

Number 3: Ghost Face 30th Anniversary Mask

2026 is the 30th anniversary of the first Scream movie, and to celebrate, Fun World released a new mask based on the Gen 1 Ghost Face masks used in the movie. This mask goes back to the vinyl design used in the ‘90s, featuring a detachable hood (not to be confused with the shroud, which is the black fabric attached to the mask), a vanilla scent on the inside and the ability to glow pale green in the dark. The mask is available for around $30 at most retailers or for $60 when included in the full 30th Anniversary “Father Death” costume.

Number 2: Aged Ghost Face Bleeding Mask

What do you get when you mix two of the coolest Ghost Face variants? You get the Aged Bleeding mask. The aged Ghost Face mask has a cracked, yellowing appearance to make the mask look old and worn, and even made an appearance in Scream 6. The bleeding mask, on the other hand, is mainly known for the iconic imagery of blood flowing down its face and made an appearance as an ultra-rare cosmetic in Dead by Daylight. This new mask takes the fantastic aged design and attaches the handheld pump and tubing from the bleeding mask, coming with fake blood to pump through and down the mask. This design would be great for adding a little flair to a Scream 6 cosplay or a slightly grittier normal Ghost Face costume. It retails for around $25.

Honorable Mention: Revenant Is Watching You Mask

While not a Ghost Face mask, the Revenant Is Watching You mask was released this year and seems to be an original design by Fun World. It made the list because of its (admittedly limited) similarities to the Lakewood Slasher mask from MTV’s Scream TV series. While Fun World did release an official Lakewood Slasher mask around the time the show aired, it’s very rare and no longer available. The Revenant Is Watching You mask certainly would not work as a substitute, but it has earned an honorable mention nonetheless.

Number 1: Ghost Face Clown Mask

Fun World’s Ghost Face Clown Mask has an extremely unique design with a big red nose, mock makeup, and a black-and-white asymmetrical diamond pattern on the hood. Even beside the existing Christmas, Easter or even American flag-themed masks, this one stands out for just how different it really is. Following the success of the Terrifier franchise, there’s been a bit of a renewed interest in killer clowns, so it’s no surprise this mask dropped when it did. The mask itself retails for around $25, and the full clown Ghost Face costume set retails for about $50.
